Let's face it, cooking isn't a priority for every man, woman, or child on earth. In fact, people have made culinary knowledge a priority in their lives. This usually means that people mostly eat canned mixes instead of just spending time with our families and preparing healthy food for personal enjoyment.
This means that at some point in your cooking cycle, there may be someone who cooks worse or better than you. Rejoice, because good people have bad days when it comes to cooking. You don't need sauce.

- 5 pounds of potatoes
- 2 sticks of butter
- 1/2 cup roasted garlic puree (see my recipe for this ingredient)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
Steps to prepare garlic mashed potatoes
- Rinse the potatoes well. (very important step)
- Slice the potatoes and place in a large saucepan. (Tip: You can peel the potatoes before slicing for a smoother texture, but I prefer to firm the skins with mashed potatoes.)
- Pour in water and bring to a boil. Continue cooking until potatoes are tender (about 15-20 minutes depending on the size of the pieces).
- Squeeze out the water and put the potato pieces back in the pot.
- Use a potato masher to crush the pieces until thick.
- Mix the butter until it melts and no one sees.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
